Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration challenge #21 is fresh and funky! I took this color combo and made a birthday card for my mom. Tomorrow is her birthday. This color combo is a little bolder then I would have normally selected, which is something that I love. Stretching those creative muscles is always a good thing for me! I used the new flight of the Butterfly stamp set and Dreams du Jour, as well as my new scallop square and scallop board punches. Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon and Whisper White Taffeta finish it off!

you have to be the fastest cardmaker in town girl!

I love that you paper pierced the scalloped edge- it really adds to the card.
I got my scalloped square today, good thing I am off for the weekend, I can't wait to break it in.

I made a card for my mom too, well my mother-in-law, but I consider her my mom. Anyway, I love the butterfly background with the scallops, I think your mom will love it!!

Not only is your mother going to love it, Kristina did too, you made the round up yet again. Seriously, pretty soon you are going to have to stop playing just so other people can have a chance :) Great job!!!
